Manage Your Money On-Line

I came across an on-line money manager similar to Quicken called Mint.com.  It's really slick and will download all your latest transactions from your various banks and credit cards.  It even categorizes them, though some you must categorize yourself.  You do have to tell it your passwords, but they insist and all the information I could trace says that they only get read only access to your data.  They also tell you how they keep your data safe and encrypted from prying eyes.

So whether or not you want to use this as a money manager, it's probably worth a visit to look around.

Dale Begg-Smith

This is Dale Begg-Smith.  He is a Canadian born Australian Olympic competitor in the free style mogul event.  He won the silver.

Unlike most other Olympic competitors he is rich.  He drives a $300,000 Lamborghini.  He owns his own company.

You might be asking yourself why his picture is on this website.  It turns out that Begg-Smith is a computer geek, and, perhaps, not of the best kind.  He has apparently made his millions by generating spam and installing spyware and malware.
The Wall Street Journal thinks he's great.

Deep Zoom Viewer

Microsoft has some new tools for viewing images. Use the scoller to zoom and use the tools on the image. It's pretty neat. The pictures look best in full screen mode. Let's hope these folks aren't in the witness protection program.
